The Shimla trip, the camera you borrowed from me to impress the special one in college ,my b'day party & the cellphones episode , our holi celebrations - the urvashi theatre ,our investment escapades when we set out to overthrow Warren Buffet from his throne , your bike which you claimed to be the Harley Davidson and you also got a sticker of it ! The house hunt which we did together for you to shift close to our place & your troubling landlady who again was just fond of YOU and nobody else in the entire world , your CAT saga - I remember that phonecall when you saw the results when 99.75 was not good enough the first time . But you finally made it and you fulfilled your dream . You were always a fighter and you always stood tall .

The 2k2 batch is at the tipping point and it can now begin to see the downslope of the hill We the 2k2 batch are not mourning but are crying our hearts out today . You are a loss to each & everyone. A lot of us may not have talked to each other for a while but we did today, you made us realize that life is more than just being busy ,that was your motto - Meet people,bring that smile and keep life simple. While we start our journey on the downslope, we will follow your motto .

Weird Coincidence

Hey this is no flick from the movies...

Holiday inn Jaipur --- played just one instrumental tune throughout the day in their lobby , restrooms, restaurents .. any place except the room .. 24/7 so much that my colleague had complained to the management to change the tune !

Weirdly I liked it..

Since coming back from Jaipur.. in the last 3 months .. Hardrock cafe.. June 10th -- heard the song this time and quickly recollected that this was the same instrumental which was playin @ holiday inn..

More places .. more weekends and the song kept playing.. pubs,malls, live shows .. I started playin it post office hours..

the last - on TV - -- @ Trivandrum.. the one time I browse music channels @ home.. I come across the live version of the song.. I dont have a TV @ gurgaon..
and today I hear it again .. guess where.. ? Auto .. fella playing the radio.. ! .... Wots with this song.. and me.. since May 24th 2011.. either I have been following it.. or its been following me .

Its almost time to bid farewell to this blog- it is way over its expiry date.. I guess one more and I'd shut it forever .

Smoke

Well this weekend I had a guest @ my place and it just helped me make some observations - well I have had close friends who are still chain smokers. Lets be honest very few can really quit and I mean very few -probably they can be counted (handful).3 kind of smokers exist -

1. who smoke occasionally

2. smokes quite a few cigs a day

3. smokes quite a few cigs a day

Well the 2nd & 3rd type are not the same.,., Nopes its not a typo.. They smoke almost the same quantities but there is an ocean of difference in their behaviour. This weekend I almost got negative energy sitting in a room with this fella(3rd type) who smokes the chimney the whole day .. and does NOTHING & I mean it.. absolutely nothing except for the occasional smoke every hour ! hes sleeping or lazying around the whole day ! dude I wonder how one could maintain such a lifestyle !

Well the 2nd type is a little different - they smoke the chimney too but are superactive not(hyperactive) .My roomie @ bschool and a close friend from engineering was a proof of that.. ! But I still wonder if these guys had never felt tobacco ,they probably would have done way better for themselves !

End of the day - it KILLS. Anybody who needs to be dependent on something to continue their existence is simply FUCKED UP. If ur digestive system cant get u through without a smoke U are a piece of shit urself ! I totally respect those friends who atleast try to quit & are not the ones to proudly claim to be of a separate genre whom very few can understand ! I feel so sorry for my friends who are entangled in this mess. I really wish they all come out of it !

Raising a toast

Congrats ! I still remember how important this milestone was to you a couple of years back.Still remember we both going to IMS to find out about gmat - mba and stuff for u .. and being turned back cuz we dint have enough workex... preparing for the exam.. post exam.. all the effort you put in.. the tough times.. and finally u made it.. and dint even feel happy about it ! Well all thats' history ..

Now I hope you should be proud of what u have been able to accomplish & value it ! Ofcourse there r other imp things in ur life now which u'd want to bother about.. but dont forget - to see 13th may 2011 with a job which may be a dream for a billion other people is something which was of prime importance to u in 2008-09 (if it wasnt .. then I probably got it wrong).

Nevertheless I'm proud of u :) and I know one thing that wots of prime importance to u in 2011 will be accomplished soon.tc

b'day

well had a good day ! less work at office.. good time with friends at dinner. but when I sit here..typing this down.. I know the gift I wanted the most which would have been permanent for the rest of my bacha kucha life .. anyways jealous !

Tranquility

Yes I breathe a sigh of relief today ! The Almighty has been extremely kind to me . Thank u & it was heartening to see friends trying to know minute by minute if i did get a call from the HR in the noon.My balance of Rs 333 got over in 4 hours today .'Unexpected'

But the destination doesnt realize the long route that I have taken now. Too late . I will still not make it and I dont have any expectations anymore.

and closer to the finish line..can almost sense it now,have been able to see the finish line for a long time. There are some races you want to run ,ur heart wants to win it .. ur head wants to win it too but then the finish line doesn't want you to win the race. You dont come first.
